# Terms of Use

Last updated: May 14, 2026

## Terms of Use

Callput provides feed-driven synthetic reference exposure through request-based onchain options. It does not provide shares, ETFs, securities accounts, tokenized stocks, issuer rights, dividends, voting rights, or physical delivery. Access depends on your jurisdiction. Callput does not provide investment, legal, tax, or trading advice.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Callput, including the website, documentation, application interface, smart contracts, market data, request flows, settlement flows, and related services.

By accessing or using Callput, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use Callput.

1. Overview

Callput is an onchain options protocol and interface for request-based options trading. Users submit requests to open or close option positions. Requests may be executed, cancelled, rejected, delayed, or remain pending depending on market conditions, liquidity, risk controls, data availability, protocol state, and infrastructure availability.

Callput supports synthetic stock and ETF options and crypto options. Stock and ETF options on Callput reference market prices and protocol-defined values, but they do not represent ownership of any underlying stock, equity, ETF, security, commodity, tokenized asset, issuer interest, or exchange-listed option contract. Availability is determined by the current market feed and must be checked before each trade.

2. Eligibility and Compliance

You are responsible for determining whether you may lawfully access or use Callput in your jurisdiction. You may not use Callput if doing so would violate any applicable law, regulation, sanction, restriction, court order, or contractual obligation.

Callput may restrict, block, or limit access from certain jurisdictions, wallet addresses, interfaces, or users at any time, without notice, where required by law, risk controls, service providers, or internal policies.

3. No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice

Callput does not provide investment, financial, legal, tax, accounting, trading, or other professional advice. Any information provided through the website, documentation, interface, market data, or communications is for general informational purposes only.

You are solely responsible for evaluating risks, making trading decisions, obtaining professional advice where appropriate, and complying with all applicable tax, reporting, and legal obligations.

4. No Broker, Exchange, Clearing Agency, Custodian, or Fiduciary Relationship

Callput is not a broker, dealer, securities exchange, derivatives exchange, clearing agency, bank, investment adviser, commodity trading adviser, custodian, trustee, fiduciary, or portfolio manager.

Your use of Callput does not create any advisory, fiduciary, agency, brokerage, custody, clearing, or client relationship between you and Callput.

5. No Asset Ownership

Trading Callput stock and ETF options does not constitute ownership of any underlying stocks, equities, securities, ETFs, commodities, tokenized assets, or issuer interests.

Users holding or settling these options do not own the referenced underlying assets and are not entitled to dividends, interest, distributions, voting rights, shareholder privileges, governance rights, subscription rights, preferential purchase rights, conversion rights, redemption rights, or corporate action rights.

Unless explicitly reflected by Callput through pricing, settlement, or contract adjustments, users will not benefit from corporate actions relating to any referenced underlying.

6. Synthetic Options and Reference Pricing

Callput stock and ETF options are synthetic onchain options. They are not broker-listed options, exchange-listed options, securities accounts, equity accounts, or tokenized shares. They do not provide physical delivery, issuer affiliation, dividends, voting rights, or other issuer rights.

Callput derives pricing from real trading-market indicators and uses those inputs to calculate its own futures index, volatility curve, mark price, execution price, and settlement values. These protocol-defined values may differ from prices shown on exchanges, brokers, options venues, data vendors, or other market participants.

7. Request-Based Execution

Submitting a transaction or request does not guarantee execution. A transaction hash may only confirm that a request was registered onchain. It does not guarantee that a position was opened, closed, filled at a specific price, or settled.

Requests may be delayed, cancelled, rejected, or executed at a different value than expected due to liquidity, volatility, spreads, oracle conditions, keeper availability, protocol limits, risk checks, market closures, blockchain congestion, or other conditions.

8. Expiry and Settlement

Before expiry, closing a position requires a separate close request. After expiry, settlement is handled through the protocol settlement flow.

For stock options, settlement value is determined by the 30-minute TWAP before expiration for the referenced underlying, subject to protocol rules, data availability, and any applicable adjustments. Settlement values may differ from spot prices, last traded prices, broker prices, exchange prices, or third-party data feeds.

9. Risk Disclosure

Using Callput involves significant risk. You may lose the entire premium or amount committed to a transaction. Options can create high effective leverage and can lose value rapidly due to changes in underlying prices, implied volatility, liquidity, market structure, interest rates, funding, and broader market conditions.

Risks include market risk, gap risk, liquidity risk, leverage risk, pricing risk, oracle risk, smart contract risk, blockchain risk, keeper risk, infrastructure risk, regulatory risk, tax risk, and operational risk.

10. Blockchain and Smart Contract Risks

Callput operates through onchain infrastructure. Smart contracts, wallets, RPC providers, bridges, keepers, oracles, blockchains, and related systems may fail, contain bugs, be exploited, become unavailable, or behave unexpectedly.

Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. You are responsible for reviewing transactions before signing, safeguarding your wallet, protecting private keys, and understanding the consequences of onchain activity.

11. Third-Party Services and Data

Callput may rely on third-party infrastructure, data sources, analytics, index inputs, or service providers. Callput does not guarantee that third-party services or data will be accurate, complete, timely, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.

External links, data sources, wallets, block explorers, and integrations are provided for convenience only. You use them at your own risk.

12. Prohibited Use

You may not use Callput to violate laws, sanctions, market abuse rules, anti-money laundering rules, fraud rules, intellectual property rights, security controls, or third-party rights.

You may not attempt to exploit, disrupt, manipulate, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or interfere with Callput, its smart contracts, interfaces, data systems, or infrastructure except where expressly permitted by applicable law or an authorized security program.

13. No Warranties

Callput is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Callput makes no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, reliability, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, execution quality, settlement outcome, or compatibility with your needs.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Callput and its contributors, affiliates, service providers, and team members are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including trading losses, lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, failed transactions, delayed transactions, cancelled requests, liquidation, settlement differences, smart contract failures, or regulatory consequences.

15. Changes to These Terms

Callput may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms may be posted through the website, documentation, interface, or other communication channels. Your continued use of Callput after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms may be directed through Callput's official communication channels.
